Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 June 2026
These terms govern your use of promolineup.com (the “Site”) and set out the general framework under which PromoLineup Events Ltd (“PromoLineup”, “we”, “us”), NZBN 9429051284736, provides event production services. Individual bookings are governed by a separate written event agreement, which prevails over these terms where they differ.
1. About our services
PromoLineup provides casino-themed entertainment event services: hosted themed tables, symbolic chip and scoring systems, event planning, branding and on-site production. For the avoidance of doubt:
- our events are entertainment only — symbolic chips have no monetary value and cannot be purchased, exchanged or redeemed for money or anything of value;
- no real money is played at any table, and no outcome of any game confers a monetary benefit of any kind;
- our services do not constitute gambling as defined by the Gambling Act 2003, and we do not operate, promote or facilitate any form of real-money gaming;
- events are private functions for adult audiences (18+), booked by a client and closed to the general public.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with the Site's operation, probe or test its security, scrape its content for commercial reuse, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.
3. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry through the Site does not create a booking. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise. A booking is confirmed only when both parties have signed an event agreement and any agreed deposit has been received.
4. Bookings, changes and cancellations
Specific deposit, payment, rescheduling and cancellation terms are set out in each event agreement. As a general framework:
- guest-count changes of up to 10% can usually be accommodated up to 10 working days before the event;
- rescheduling requests are accommodated where crew and equipment availability allows;
- cancellation charges reflect costs already incurred and crew commitments at the time of cancellation.
5. Client responsibilities
For events at a venue you provide, you are responsible for ensuring we have reasonable access for setup and pack-down, a safe working environment for our crew, and any permissions required from the venue. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests; our hosts may pause or close a table where behaviour compromises safety or the enjoyment of other guests.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, design, logos and graphics — is owned by or licensed to PromoLineup Events Ltd and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our written permission. Client branding supplied for an event remains the client's property; we use it only for that event and our records.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply. Subject to those rights, our total liability in connection with the Site or an event is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. The Site is provided “as is” and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when published on this page. Bookings already confirmed remain governed by the terms in force at the time of confirmation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
