What this is,
and what it is not
No. There is no game, no demo, no app and no account anywhere on this site, and there never will be. This is the website of an event supplier: it describes tables we bring to venues and takes enquiries from people organising evenings. Everything we do happens in a physical room, with a host standing at the table.
No. Under the Gambling Act 2003, gambling requires that someone pays to take part and that a prize can be won. At our events neither exists: chips are handed out free at the door, and the only thing at the end of the night is a trophy, a photograph and a leaderboard. Nothing of monetary value changes hands in either direction.
Nothing, deliberately. Every guest receives the same set on arrival. Chips cannot be bought, sold, topped up beyond a free restack, exchanged, banked or redeemed — during the evening or afterwards. They are scorekeeping tokens with your logo on them, and most guests take one home as a souvenir.
No, and this is where we decline bookings rather than negotiate. Attaching money, vouchers, gift cards or anything of monetary value to a game result would turn an entertainment evening into something we are not set up to run and do not want to run. A trophy, a bottle for the table or a company-branded keepsake are all fine.
No, because no gambling takes place. The Department of Internal Affairs licenses gambling; entertainment with no stake and no prize falls outside that regime. If your venue's compliance officer wants this in writing, we supply a signed statement with the run sheet.
Because our events are adult social functions — evening timings, licensed venues, a bar run by someone else — and because a clear line is easier to run than a blurred one. Guests at the tables are 18 and over. We do not run children's parties or school events.

Booking an evening
For a date in November or December, eight to twelve weeks — that season is usually full by early October. Outside it, four weeks is comfortable, and a single table for a small function can often be arranged inside a fortnight.
Auckland is home. Hamilton, Tauranga and Whangārei are a straightforward drive. Wellington and Christchurch we do several times a year, with the kit freighted and the crew flown — worth it from about three tables upward.
Most do not, and it makes no difference. Every session opens with a two-minute walkthrough in plain English, and the hosts keep coaching all evening. Beginners are usually the loudest table by the second hour.
That is normal and planned for. Floor plans keep room to socialise away from the tables, seats rotate so spectators can join at any point, and no guest is ever pressed to sit down. Participation is the host's craft, not an obligation on the guest.
Yes — our producer speaks to them directly, so your team has one contact rather than five. If you have no venue yet, we shortlist from twelve partner venues across four cities against your guest count and budget.
Our rate card is published in full, with three itemised worked examples, on the pricing page. A single hosted table in Auckland starts at NZ$900 before GST; a 120-guest company function with seven tables lands around NZ$9,460.
We take a short set of production photographs for our own records and send them to you in the debrief. We publish nothing without written permission, and we never name a client on this website — every case study is anonymised for that reason.

They break into sections and need 760 mm of clear width. Full dimensions, weights, lift diagonals and load-in times are on the equipment page, in a format you can paste straight into a venue file.
Under 400 W across an entire floor — one 10 A socket for the leaderboard screen and chip station lamp. The tables themselves need none.
Public liability of NZ$2,000,000 for any one event, plus NZ$185,000 of equipment cover in transit and on site. Certificates are supplied the same day they are asked for.
The floor is cleared the same night — 70 minutes for a seven-table build. Venues are handed back in their original state, which is a relationship we protect more carefully than any single booking.
