What it costs,
line by line.
We publish our rates because the first question every client asks deserves an answer before the first call, not after it. Everything below is indicative — your quote is itemised against your own brief — but nothing in it is a surprise.

Tables and hosts
Every table price includes the table, the kit, one trained host for the whole booking, delivery within Auckland metro, setup and pack-down. All figures are NZ$ and exclude GST.

Terms of business
Deposits, changes,
cancellations

30% confirms the date
A date is held for seven days from the quote. A 30% deposit confirms it; the balance is invoiced on the day after the event and falls due within seven days.

Guest numbers move
Final numbers are confirmed ten working days out. Adding a table after that is usually possible; removing one inside five working days is not, because the host is already rostered.

Cancellation
More than 28 days out, the deposit is refunded less a NZ$150 administration fee. Between 14 and 28 days, half the deposit is retained. Inside 14 days, the deposit is retained in full.

Postponement
One postponement to a date within twelve months carries no fee if we are told more than 21 days out and the new date is available.

GST and invoicing
All published rates exclude GST at 15%. We invoice from a New Zealand entity, GST registered, NZBN 9429051284736. Purchase order numbers are welcome on the invoice.

What we never charge for
There is no charge to a guest for anything, ever. Guests do not buy chips, do not pay for table access and cannot spend money at our tables. The client pays the invoice; the evening is free at the point of play.
Budget questions
Asked before the quote
One table with a host, three hours, delivered in Auckland — NZ$900 including delivery, before GST. Below that the logistics cost more than the evening is worth to you, and we will say so.
Roughly one table per fourteen guests keeps queues away when the tables are the main event. If the tables sit alongside dinner and dancing, one per twenty is comfortable. We size it in the concept note rather than guessing on the phone.
No. An unhosted table is furniture: guests circle it for ten minutes and drift to the bar. The host is the product, and we do not hire the tables out without one.
No, and this one is not negotiable. Chips are issued free to every guest and carry no value. Charging for them would turn an entertainment booking into something else entirely, and we would be declining the booking rather than quoting it.
Yes — 10% off the table rate for events held Sunday to Thursday between February and September. It is applied in the quote automatically; you do not have to ask for it.
Venue hire, catering, bar, AV, music and photography. We coordinate with all of them and will recommend suppliers we trust, but we invoice only for what we bring.
